Biography

Zou Chong, born in the 1980s, is an Attending Physician at the First Center for Facial and Neck Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. He holds a doctoral degree from Peking Union Medical College and the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

He has been engaged in clinical plastic surgery for more than ten years. He keeps abreast of the latest advances in international plastic surgery and is attentive to the aesthetic and cultural characteristics of East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean). He has strong aesthetic judgment and artistic cultivation. His techniques are meticulous, he adheres to the principles of minimally invasive surgery, and he strives for natural surgical results.

He ranked first in the entrance examination for the graduate program at Peking Union Medical College. During his doctoral studies at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of Peking Union Medical College, he received honors including the National Scholarship, PUMC Outstanding Graduate Student, and Beijing Outstanding Graduate. After obtaining his doctoral degree in 2015, he stayed at the hospital and has worked there since. He subsequently worked in the Facial and Neck Plastic Surgery Center, Craniomaxillofacial Center, Rhinoplasty Center, Comprehensive Scar Treatment Center, and other departments, accumulating extensive clinical experience. He completed fine surgical and technical training, including supermicrosurgical vascular anastomosis of less than 0.5 mm. In 2015, he pursued further training in comprehensive rhinoplasty at the clinic of Professor Zheng Dongxue in South Korea, and in eye plastic surgery at the clinic of Professor Cao Renchang and the Korea Modern Aesthetic Hospital. In 2018, he attended the Dallas Rhinoplasty & Facial Rejuvenation Annual Meeting in the United States for further study. He has given presentations at major domestic and international academic conferences on multiple occasions and has served as a simultaneous interpreter. He has published several original articles in high-level international SCI journals and promptly stays informed of the latest trends and technologies in the domestic and international plastic and aesthetic surgery field. He enjoys photography and visiting art exhibitions, and has strong aesthetic judgment and artistic cultivation.
